Summer 2010 is underway and we could not be more excited. Roger is wrapping up the school year, Soraya's belly is growing by the day as we approach week 20 of our pregnancy, and Brynn is enjoying her summer to the max.
Brynn looooves spending time with Cohen and Carew, and Roger and Soraya enjoy Shellie and Lance just as much. Brynn went over to the Kamaus' to play with the boys in their pool which they had filled up for this warm Wednesday aftern

oon. It was refreshing and fun for her, and the perfectway to get ready for her T ball game.
Brynn had her second game today. There are no outs, and they don't keep score. Each kid gets the chance to hit the ball, and run. Their job is to run in the right direction and head on to home plate. It is one of the cutest things I have ever seen. Brynn's mom is one of the coaches, so it gives Brynn an opportuntity to hang out with both of her parents and step-parents.
Soraya borrowed a device to hear the baby's sounds, and a microphone so that we can all read to the baby and he/she can recognize our voices. Brynn and Roger read "I Love You This Much" and "Good Night Moon". Even though Soraya is new to the whole "human living inside of her" thing. She is pretty sure that when Brynn was reading to her, the baby kicked a few times. We are loving seeing our family grow by the day (literally).
Thank you Lord for our Lisbon friendships. We continue to pray for Soraya to feel better. She used to get sick a few times per day and even though, things have improved, she is still getting sick a few times per week.

We are leaving for our 1st family vacation this Saturday to Orlando. Brynn is so excited when she gets up every morning for the last week she asks, "Is it tomorrow we leave?" We have been to Tennessee to see Soraya's family a few times, but never away like this with just ourselves. Should be lots of fun!
